“Christina Peck has blown away the insurance companies’ smoke screen of incomprehensible rules, shifting codes
and knee jerk denials. Finally, parents have the knowledge to claim the services that their children so desperately
need.”-Cecelia McCarton M.D. The McCarton Center for Developmental Pediatrics NYC, NY
"For parents of children with an Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), the "system" can appear to be a confusing maze
of entities, both public and private, who seem to avoid providing the services that they are bound by law to provide.
For this reason, it is essential to have Christina Peck on your side. We would be doing an injustice in describing her
as an "advocate" however. Christina's background in coding is an invaluable resource in getting you the services
you deserve from your insurance company. But her value goes well beyond her insurance expertise. Christina, as
a parent of a child who had an ASD, is able to give us both the confidence and emotional support to persevere
through this trying time. When it came time to have our evaluation with the state to determine how many hours of
Early Intervention our child was to receive, Christina fought for us and in the end we received twenty hours per
week of therapy versus the five hours the we were initially told by the state that we would receive. She has an
amazing ability to cut through the red tape and her sheer determination is unparalleled when it comes to the pursuit
of must-have resources. We would not have gotten anywhere near where we are today without Christina's help." -

”Imagine the treatment of your child's ASD as a road trip that you take from New York to Los Angeles. Now imagine
that all you have is a half a tank of gas, and no road map to tell you how to get to your destination. Imagine further
that there is a raging blizzard along your route and you can barely see 10 feet in front of you. Christina is the
equivalent of GPS, four wheel drive, On Star, and a snow plow leading the way in front of you. She will get you to
your destination no matter what obstacles stand in the way.” -D.S., Parent
"Samantha's story demonstrates just how vital a role early detection and intervention play in the treatment of
Autism. It also illustrates the importance of incorporating therapy into everyday life. This book is a great source of
information that can be used to get the most out of your state's early intervention program or school district, and
suggestions on how to provide additional therapies courtesy of the insurance companies." - Colleen Rafferty, ABA
Therapist
"After my insurance company did not provide any reimbursement for thousands of dollars of private services, I
sought Christina’s help. Christina eased the burden of this purposely complex insurance maze, and was able to
work with our developmental pediatrician to write letters of predetermination that are yielding good results and
reimbursement.”- E.B., Parent
“The constant maze the insurance carriers force parents of challenged children to maneuver is horrific. It should
be a criminal act to cause families who pay good hard earned money for coverage to choose between the best
available care for their child, and in many cases financial disaster or no care at all. To most, it is a surprise that an
insurance carrier limits, denies, or reduces benefits sometimes after approving them. Thankfully, Christina has
navigated the maze and printed a roadmap for families to follow.”- Yvonne McNamee Practice Manager, Biller
"Navigating through the special education and health insurance maze can be treacherous." -Janet M. Krebs, M.S.,

“I have known Chris Peck for several years, before my son was diagnosed with autism. I have always thought of
Chris as having an amazing personality and a positive outlook on life. What I did not know about Chris, is how
dedicated she is in helping parents and children on the Autism Spectrum. Chris has been able to help me get my
son extra ABA therapy at home; 15 hours more a week, on top of his schooling. The most amazing part of it, she
has been able to get my son's insurance company to pay for it all! This has opened so many doors for my son that
I could not have! In a very short time, I see such improvement in him, and I owe a 100% to Chris. There are
absolutely no words in the English dictionary that can express my gratitude for what she has done!” -J.C., Parent
"Christina Peck was very precise, to the point, and kept the insurance maze simple. I was in a huge rut and
overwhelmed by claims. Now I am organized and my claims are more timely and sufficient." -E.G., Parent
“Parent training is important to increase generalization of skills from school to home or from home programming
(with instructors) to home (with the parents). Parent involvement is crucial. Parents not only need training to carry
over skills, they also have to be sure to continue implementing the skills they are taught by their consultant. When
it's your child who has the disability, you have to be sure you are trained in how to work with your child when in
specific situations. Christina and Dave are trained by their consultants in dealing with specific behaviors. Currently,
they have been able to use these skills to develop behavior plans on their own. It is internally rewarding when a
family can take the skills they are taught and use them independently. This is when the behaviorist can say, "I have
done my job."- Gianna Appiecello Board Certified Behavior Analyst
Christina is amazingly knowledgeable about insurance company's policies and practices and knew how to get the
system to work for us. I am totally convinced that I would not have been reimbursed for my daughter's services
without her expertise. She is also incredibly generous with her time. She has taken the financial burden off the
table and, for that, I am very appreciative." - D.Y., Parent
I am so glad we found your website. What a wonderful service you are providing. We got reimbursed for
evaluations which had been repeatedly denied in the past. But most importantly, we are able to continue with the
ABA that is helping our son so much. I don't think we would have been able to continue the therapy for very long
without getting reimbursed. He's making such nice progress. It's exciting to see him doing more and more every
day. I wish I had known about your website earlier! We can't thank you enough." - J.B., Parent
Christina is an amazing woman that helped me navigate through insurance companies. What she knows nobody
can teach but her. I would highly recommend her expertise and any suggestion she may have. She is worth every
penny. Plus she has a heart. - T.K., Parent
I wanted to thank Yvonne for being so helpful to me. Even though I have never met her, she gave me valuable
and accurate advice. Thank you so much for your time. - Y.C., Parent
